Christmas is a magical and warm time, it brings people together. However when I think of christmas, its the food. A while back I used to be scared of christmas because you would have to eat infront of everyone huge dishes of food. Now iam so excited and cannot wait for the dessert! 😂 If my eating disorder did get in the way I would give myself a pause and think, "is this me who's talking or is it my eating disorder?" those words have helped me to fight for me. 23 days till christmas and I cannot wait! Fully support this idea of putting how much walking/running it would take to burn off the food you are about to eat on the packet but can already hear all the little snowflakes moaning about how it’s another form of “Fat Shaming” 🙄🖕🏻•Might make everyone think twice about throwing that bag of Doritos in the trolly if they knew it would take an hour and a half of running to burn them off 🤷🏻‍♂️

When I started this fitness journey back in July it began as not just getting back in good shape but really forcing myself to break through the "I'm scared to workout in front of others at the gym" barrier. Only @swatsonfit knows how many times I had signed up and then chickened out at the last minute. MULTIPLE AND I MEAN MULTIPLE TIMES! Then once I got my toe in the water I've toyed with the idea of maybe competing next summer in a body building competition. That one is still up in the air because of not only my age and fitness level but also the FEAR of walking in a stage in front of people and not puking..Right now, though, and after having taken off two whole weeks from my commitment of a goal AND scrolling through old pics yesterday, I realize that not only do I feel more in control of myself and health, I actually LOOK better. More healthy! Regardless of the rest, I want to BE healthy and that means a life long commitment of making THAT a priority..I won't lie, this week has been a struggle. I got used to just having my mornings to myself and not pressuring myself to make it to the gym. But commitment to something means discipline and discipline is a good tool to organizing your life and being successful in all areas. I, personally, need discipline. Otherwise I've got a tendency to procrastinate and put things off til the last minute..Don't get comfortable with going back to old habits. Push forward and keep taking steps in an onward direction. Even the smallest steps in the right direction will lead you to a positive outcome. Most importantly, don't quit and just give up. Make the most of your progress, no matter how small, and keep hammering away at your goals. You can do it! I promise!.#faith#staythecourse#youcandoit#goaldigger#believeitachieveit
